The 2024 Ford Explorer, Maverick, and Super Duty all performed very well, each ranking second in their respective segments, which are based on feedback from drivers and data on vehicle repair visits during the first three months of ownership, underscoring the reliability and quality of Ford’s latest lineup.
Jim Baumbick, Ford’s vice president of Product Development and Quality, expressed his pride in the company’s progress. “We are making a lot of progress on quality, and customers with our latest vehicles are benefiting from it,” said Baumbick. “We have more work to do, as our ambition is to have best-in-class quality, and we won’t be satisfied until we achieve and sustain it.”
Frank Hanley, senior director of auto benchmarking at J.D. Power, also commended Ford’s efforts, stating, “Ford’s achievement of receiving the award for the Bronco Sport in the Small SUV segment shows their continued commitment to Initial Quality.”
